Little Hiatus

My journal has most definitely been neglected. I've taken up photography and been spending a lot of time in the photolab. In addition, the stuff I've been making at the computer hasn't been icons. So, I think I'm on a little hiatus. And, trust me, this hurts me more than it hurts you -- considering I have a paid account. ;)

Oh, I'm learning a lot in my website design course, so I may end up adding journal layouts to my repertoire, but not quite yet.

'Kay. So, here's the thing: I'm giving myself icon deadlines. I know it seems a bit silly considering this is a hobby and all, but I seem only to be productive through structured time periods. Every Friday I'll be posting all the icons I've made that week. This way I feel productive and my journal doesn't seem inactive, and hopefully the structure will make me more successful at this. I know you all didn't really need to know that, but I thought I'd tell you anyhow. :)

I also come bearing icons, of course. I was sick from X-Mas night till, like, last week, so I haven't been on the computer much. Anyway, this is what I have:

EDIT: On a completely unrelated note, go check out Lansdowne. They're a rockin' Boston-based band and my best friend works with the bassist. Hmm. As far as their sound goes... I'd say sorta like The Fray, but a little punkier (at least, their newer songs are).

So, my dear

julibeth requested I make her some icons to go with her new journal. The conditions: none. The description: did not exist. With these strict limitations, I started to make purple flower-themed icons. Then I said to myself, I said, "Why just purple flowers? Why not other purple things?" And this, my dear readers, is the result. Plus, I added a few panda icons 'cause the pictures were too cute not to do something with :).
